Green Eden is a new development in Omemee, Ontario, focused on environmental responsibility, creating a sense of community for older residents, and refining the pleasures of Canadian cottage life.    The project is a cluster of 18 semi-detached houses and 12 apartments, all with views and decks facing onto the protected Pigeon River wetland, to which the residents also have access via a boardwalk and small waterfront park.  The project will seek LEED certification through careful selection of materials, details, and systems.
